  II.) I-Gear aka "Idle Sniper"

1. Background Development
After numerous B-Gears were dispatched, the resistance of the Phillons became more fierce. High-tech weaponry along with powerful missile weaponry and biological airframes were being developed by the Phillons, forcing the Decans to come up with countermeasures. The missiles were especially a problem, and the Decans had no choice but to come up with a new model of airframe that could out-run the Phillon's missiles. Therefore, the B-Gear's F-type engine was adapted to fit a new high speed aerodynamic airframe, and the I-Gear was born.
2. Basic Armament
The I-Gear has the same basic weapons as the B-Gear. Although the I-Gear is specialized as a lightweight airframe with lightweight weaponry. Its primary weapon is a sort of beam-type weapon based on the Auto Contact series. For missiles, it uses a special A.Z.P. Missile Launcher which makes air battle, region control, and ground backup all possible.
3. Airframe Characteristics
The weaponry is a bit weaker than the weaponry of other gears' armaments, but the airframe itself stands as a basis for that of the other gears. For example, the engine...the supplier of the B-Gear's engine has changed to Freeway Co. Ltd's Fr type engine, after five trial developments from another manufacturer failed. The F-type engine is widely known; it's a base engine for the I-Gear that was originally for racing, but the Fr type equipped on a B-Gear is an upgrade of the F-type's main frame that shows increased torque ability up to 20%, affecting basic output, high speed flying, etc. The engine's computer is what set it above the F-type. After this experiment, the computer was replaced with the Model 6-Tenpole line; a model produced by H.E.E. Co. Ltd. This military computer is the same model that was equipped on the deprecated S-Gear, but compared to the No. III model, it has better analysis capabilities of ground heat, realism simulation, and response to the pilot's command. Therefore, H.E.E. Co. Ltd's brand of Model 6-Tenpole Line No. II 4.15Thz computer was selected for the I-Gear.

Overall, the basic weaponry is weaker than other airframes, but the performance of the airframe itself is great. Therefore, this airframe is nearly recognized as Deca's main unit, especially hailed for its air-to-surface ability.

5. Main Computer
The I-Gear is using a Sequence 7 main computer, which is a Power Brain level GCPC (Great Central Processing Computer) produced by T. Point Inc. for military use. The characteristics of the computer of T. Point Inc. are quick response speed, distance measurement, and present speed along with analysis of the enemy's speed, weight, etc. These measurements are important in determining how much weaponry is needed to accomplish whatever missions are presented to the complete his or her mission while accounting factors such as keeping load to a minimum. The system is also designed to be flexible to the pilot's individual goals, and help him or her make critical calculations such as "How much ammunition is needed to take the opponent out?" Other features of the computer include a L1~L5 Base Cache, L6~L8 Custom Cache, an L9 independent measurement related Point Cache, which contains a wide range of bandwidth -- 34.5 trillion commands/sec are executed and the system responds to the pilot's moves in a mere 0.0078 nanoseconds. Since it is designed for air combat, thermal, landform sensing is weak but on air, it demonstrates premium measuring ability, far above that of any other airframes.
6. Main Engine
I-Gears use the F-type main engine produced by Freeway Co. Ltd. Since the instant output is high, instant acceleration is the the strongest characteristic of this engine. However, the series lacks tolerance for even little disturbances, and many defects may arise without a regular tune-up. The engine is also capable of executing complex maneuvering techniques with pinpoint accuracy. F-type engines are easy to tune. The main frame is organized to be worked easily, with features such as an external detachable fuel tube, allowing for safe, easy access to the engine's internal components. The f-type engine was initially produced for racing but it has remained popular as it can be tuned to meet the user's preferences. The "Inter Blast" is currently the only officially certified tuning device for the F-type.
